Business Development Executive (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

About the role 
We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive initially on a 12 month contract based in Mackay to join the team servicing Bowen, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Emerald. The successful person will be responsible for partnering with the trade to effectively build their business leveraging Brown-Forman's portfolio of products, whilst growing operating income.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring that the regional 5-point plan is executed within the defined customer base
  • Utilising insights to increase customer engagement to deliver profitable outcomes
  • Proactively managing call cycle, and ensuring call coverage is met
  • Reviewing and evaluating territory and account plans within set timings
  • Reviewing and evaluating brand activations within set timings and budgets
  • Utilising WOMBAT to effectively capture call cycle data and call objectives
  • Manage personal SG&A in line with approved budget and PGP
  • Being brand experts on all brands in Brown-Forman Australia's portfolio
  • Exploring opportunities within the cold product space
  • Delivering internal and external training sessions to tell the story of our brands to help achieve our core objectives (e.g. staff educations)
