Latitude 34 Wine Co. is a large premium wine company located in Margaret River, Western Australia. With 120 hectares of our own vineyards located in the northern Margaret River and Blackwood Valley regions of Western Australia.
We are seeking a Winemaker / Vintage Winemaker for the 2018 vintage (and potentially beyond) to assist with the company's winemaking vision.
An undergraduate degree in Oenology, practical winemaking experience, a current High Risk (Forklift) Licence, practical Laboratory skills, and previous vintage experience is essential, whilst an understanding of small batch wine making (on a large scale) would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Fruit receival and processing
- Red and white fermentation management
- All cellar operations, including racking, transfers, filtration and tanker loading/unloading
- Barrel management
- Preparation of wines for bottle.
- Laboratory Procedures.
