The company:
Sirromet Wines is a progressive and successful family owned and operated Queensland business, situated on the beautiful hill tops of Mt Cotton, 45 minutes south-east of Brisbane. Sirromet is a Five Star James Halliday rated winery with over 800 wine awards, and is quickly becoming a well-known wine brand both domestically and internationally. To assist in furthering our growth and to cement our brand within the wine industry, we seek the services of an experienced Vineyard Hand who has what it takes to work in a fast paced, yet highly rewarding working environment.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a new team member to join our Property team. This role will be based at our Mount Cotton Vineyards and primary focus is to look over our 5 hectares of vineyards. To be successful in your application you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
- Recent Tractor and slashing experience
- Current spray ticket
- Experience in working in a vineyard is preferred but not essential
- A manual car licence
- Good verbal communication, fault finding and problem solving skills
- Punctual and reliable
