About the role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Deskside Support Analyst will be responsible is for resolving second level support issues in the Pernod Ricard Winemakers computing and networking infrastructure. Following the logging of calls and first time fix by the external Service Desk, you will provide desk-side IT support, where a first level or remote solution is ineffective.
You will also be required to champion several customer facing applications and facilitate the occasional IT training. You will work closely with the IT technical teams in the diagnosis of escalated unresolved issues and provide support to other operations personnel.
About you
You will have recently graduated or completed your IT studies and have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy engaging with different people across the business. You will have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and have a passion for high level customer service. You will have thorough understanding of IT disciplines and be excited by innovation and the opportunity to embrace new technologies.
You will have an understanding of technical change management principles including testing principles, and separation of production and non-production activities as well as application packaging and deployment. You will have a sound knowledge of Windows 7, 10 desktop and the Microsoft Application suite, including MS Office 2016, 365; Windows 2003/2008 networking services including DNS, WINS, and DHCP; and Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory services including Group Policy.
