A fantastic opportunity has been created within a growing group of companies for an experienced Group Finance Manager to come on board and establish the required structure, process and controls to keep up with the rapid business growth being experienced. This is a very hands on role which requires the successful applicant to roll up their sleeves and make an impact.
Working with a small but growing team, you will need to be able to establish working relationships with a wide range of people across the businesses. A strong understanding of internal controls and processes is essential.
Key tasks include:
- Review and establish better account structures for each entity
- Review and establish internal controls and processes
- Manage debtor and creditor functions
- Monthly reporting - including journals, accruals, variance analysis
- Annual budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Bank reporting covenants and BAS/IAS submissions
- Establish and maintain accurate stock controls
- and much much more!
This role requires advanced experience in MYOB accounting software. Experience in the wine industry is favourable but not essential. This role will suit an experienced finance candidate with a strong commercial background and equally strong technical background. Initially a 6mth contract role, this opportunity has the potential to develop into a full time role for the right candidate. Flexible working hours and location - either Adelaide office or some work from home allowances (on suitable arrangements).
