We are currently seeking multiple permanent full time cellar hands in which you will work for one of Barossa’s most notable wineries.

Based at either our Richmond Grove or Rowland Flat winery, you will be responsible for assisting in quality wine production via performing various cellar tasks in accordance to set standards and under supervision. The position is required to be available for shift work including Day, Afternoon & Night shifts. Furthermore during Vintage you must be able to work 12 hour shifts and weekend work.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Carry out seasonal cellar operator duties
• Operate, check & maintain winery equipment, plant & machinery
• Hazard identification & reporting
• Ensuring housekeeping standards are met
• Record keeping & administration
• Manual handling
Successful candidates will have completed at least 1 vintage within winery operations and will meet internal Grade 1, 2 or 3 cellar classification requirements. The role requires the ability to work in an outdoor environment, work at heights and within confined spaces. Persons must also meet the physical requirements in order to safely perform cellar hand tasks. Furthermore effective written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. Intermediate computer literacy along with High Risk Work Licence (Forklift) and driver’s licence would be advantageous.
