We have offices throughout Australia and an affiliation with wine production companies in both South Australia and New Zealand. We employ upwards of 200 staff nationally with our head office being located at Abbotsford, Victoria.
What will you be doing....
This fantastic permanent full-time opportunity will primarily concentrate on driving Mezzanine sales, focusing on restaurants, both fine and casual dining, gastro pubs and off premise retail trade. This role would ideally suit someone who thrives on the challenge of gaining new business and smashing targets and goals. The ideal candidate will self-motivated, driven and passionate about selling wine. The role will report into our State Manager and our office is located in Abbotsford.

- Account management & growth
- Resolving customer queries via telephone, email or face to face
- Reporting on sales, trade activity
- Identifying & pursuing new business opportunities
- Developing yearly and monthly strategies for meeting and exceeding budgets
- Providing action plans and target lists for key brands in the portfolio
- Aligning promotional activities to improve sales results
What we'd ideally like you to have...
- Tertiary qualification/WSET
- A youthful energy coupled with a natural ability to drive positive sales outcomes
- Hospitality or wine related background with proven industry contacts
- Passion for wine coupled with solid wine knowledge
- Solid written & verbal communication skills
- Personable, charismatic, resilient and driven personality
- The ability to develop new opportunities that will result in sales growth
- The ability to close a deal
- Thorough understanding of the "movers and shakers" within the hospitality world
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Current valid car license and own vehicle
